Sarah Kiani has worked extensively with children and theater for the past 22 years. She has a degree from the University of Minnesota in theater and youth development. She has directed and produced over 100 original plays for children. She currently is the director and founder of Tir na nOg Children’s Theater whose mission is to promote creativity, growth and self-expression through play building, performances, and offering acting camps and classes for children of all ages and abilities. Sarah recently returned to the role of student and attended UNI graduating with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health. She has created Hope Tree as an extension of her desire to provide opportunities for healing and growth. She is dedicated to working with children, individuals and families in the Cedar Valley. Originally from Saint Paul, MN she is the mother to three children and three stepchildren. She has special interest in working with grief, loss, trauma, women’s issues and with children. Sarah has a dedication to diversity, healthy development, creativity and preserving the environment. She strives to work with clients while providing therapeutic experiences in nature, drama, play and with animals at Hope Tree.
